Quetta/Karachi – January 31, 2026 – The so-called "Herof 2.0" campaign launched this morning by the Fitna-al-Hindustan (FAH) – a notorious foreign-sponsored terrorist network operating under the banner of the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) – has met the same humiliating fate as previous failed offensives, reduced to complete dust by swift and courageous action from Pakistan's armed forces, Frontier Corps (FC), and Balochistan Police.

Terrorists attempted coordinated assaults at more than 12 locations across Balochistan, targeting security installations and personnel in key areas including Quetta, Nushki, Dalbandin, Pasni, Gwadar, and others such as Mastung, Kalat, Kharan, and Tump. These attacks, involving gunfire, grenades, and attempted raids on police lines, FC headquarters, and other facilities, were part of a desperate bid to regain momentum after heavy losses in recent counter-terrorism operations.

Alhamdulillah, Pakistan's valiant security forces responded with unparalleled bravery and professionalism, foiling every malicious plan within hours. The situation remains firmly under control across the province, with no strategic installations damaged or captured, and normalcy rapidly restored.

In these failed attacks, security forces successfully eliminated 37 terrorists, many of whom were reportedly in continuous communication with their handlers based in safe havens across the border in Afghanistan. Throughout the operations, intercepted communications and on-ground evidence reinforced the clear India-Afghanistan terrorism nexus, with BLA/FAH leadership – including figures like Bashir Zeb Baloch, Allah Nazar, and exiled Harbiyar Marri – directing from Afghan territory while pushing local recruits into suicidal missions.

Tragically, 10 brave security personnel were martyred in the line of duty while defending the nation, with a few others sustaining injuries. Their sacrifices highlight the ongoing threat posed by this Indian-sponsored proxy outfit, designated as a Foreign Terrorist Organization by the United States and proscribed in Pakistan.

Putting the scale of the defeat in perspective: In the past 48 hours, another 51 terrorists have been neutralized in intelligence-based operations, bringing the total to 88 FAH/BLA militants eliminated in this short period alone. This comes on the heels of earlier counter-terrorism successes that wiped out over 50 terrorists, exposing "Herof 2.0" as a frantic, poorly planned retaliation rather than a genuine offensive.

Security analysts emphasize that while BLA leaders enjoy protection in Afghan safe havens – facilitated by foreign sponsorship – it is innocent Baloch youth who are misled into high-risk attacks, resulting in their tragic deaths. Propaganda networks linked to BLA, BLF, BYC, and BNM routinely misrepresent these battlefield losses, internal clashes, and failed operations as "enforced disappearances" to fuel anti-Pakistan narratives.

The increasing targeting of soft civilian areas in such campaigns further unmasks the criminal and anti-Baloch character of this group, which contradicts its false claims of representing Baloch interests. Pakistan stands united against this foreign-orchestrated terrorism, with security forces demonstrating once again their unbreakable resolve to protect the homeland.

Pakistan Zindabad! Security forces continue clearance operations to ensure no remnants remain. The nation salutes its martyrs and heroes who thwarted this latest chapter of sponsored chaos.
